She goes on to marry the King of France. So, his two daughters, Goneril and Regan divide the land. Later, Lear realizes that his two daughters who praised him are actually plotting against him. The sisters send their armies to fight each other over their land. Eventually, Cordelia and her husband try to restore Lear to the throne. Cordelia and Lear die in the process.
