Thunder Cave

After Jacob Lansa's mother is killed in a jogging accident in New York his step-father decides that the best place for fourteen year-old Jacob is with relatives in Nebraska. But, he prefers to live with his father in Kenya and is determined to find him. It turns out to be the trip of a lifetime. Jacob arrives there using survival skills he learned from his Hopi father and grandfather to search for his father, a biologist studying elephants in Kenya. During the trip, he meets a young Masai warrior who helps him find Dr. Lansa escaping thieves, poachers, lions and other dangerous animals.
